Social aspects of the day - started off before work sitting with Ann and Sharon, with Lexi wandering over for a bit as well. Morning tea was spent with Mel, Lisa and Lexi. Second morning tea (the system was rebelling LOL) was spent with Rachel and Sharon. Lunch was with Ann, Sharon and Rachel. Arvo tea was with everyone apart from Kimberley, and on the way to the train station had quick words with Mel and Jo.
Training wise, oh my brain is working overtime at the moment. Was actually learning the systems today, and was learning them very very fast, what with an hour out because the main system was down on Taryn (the trainer)'s computer. Again with humour and again not as intense as high school learning LOL, but yeah, reading the actual instructions was more confusing than just doing the tasks, seems to be explaining by overcomplicating. But for most of it I am keeping up, it is just that I haven't been in a classroom environment for soooooooo long.
Second impressions of my fellow intake, hmm - Ann, pretty quiet day by the old Annster today LOL; Wayne I think was in cruise control because he knew the computer systems inside out already; Sharon, hmm, will be the loud one, asking lots of questions and started every second sentence with 'in New Zealand' lol; Jo, hmm another quiet one, apart from a good morning first thing (she was the first one to see me in the training room) and a take care mate as she went to find her own train; Rachel, cute, funny again, a partner has emerged, she doesn't eat red meat and is anaemic; Lisa, hmm nice, but is the one asking most what was that kind of questions; Kim, still haven't figured her out really, apart from that she might be the shy nervous one - she doesn't seem to hang around with the rest of the group at break times - which may of course be a good thing; Lexi, still acting the mature older woman; and Mel, lives with mates in Newmarket and usually has a mohawk and pink hair - she says she will maybe muss it up that way tomorrow, she thinks her hair is too flat at the moment LOL.
So yeah, just a quick one tonight, good to see a draw between Germany and Holland in Euro 2004, even though I had predicted a German win, because I kinda like both those sides. Wow, Detroit won the NBA title, that was unexpected it was supposed to be a Lakers rollover?
That's about it for the night, will do a quick check of my regular news sites, and then have tea and then disconnect LOL.
