Ohh Mah Puir Wee Heid

LOL as said in a bad Scottish accent. Went out, had a few beers (when I shouldn't really be having any, damned anti epilepsy pills), and came home. Coming home was OK apart from talking to the best friend on the phone quite loudly LOL.

OK, so more detail requested? Let's go for gold. Went into town to try and catch the All Blacks Argentina match, the 'rugby' bar in town was getting the live feed from the Cowboys Bulldogs league game instead, for fecks sake LOL - and anyways, really needed to line my stomach with food, drinking on an empty stomach. Had wandered to KFC in one of the shopping malls, but it was closed before heading to that rugby bar.

Wandered over to Hungry Jacks, had a Whopper Cheese combo, and then went downstairs in Wintergarden to there's an Irish bar down there, and found a screen with the All Black match on. Seven all when first I got there, but the boys (Mehrtens as five eighth) slowly got into gear, and was sitting there by myself rather bored. Lo and behold, the guys across from me were really loud - three Brits and a couple Aussies. The Aussies went off to the game at Suncorp (Lang Park) and the whole usual bored at halftime thing, I started talking to the Brits - from Newcastle, Geordies and all, Mark, Leon and Scott.

After chatting for a bit, they asked where the best bar to watch rugby was, and I said (in my knowing only about four bars in Brisbane way so any locals reading, please don't lynch me LOL) the Exchange, where I had been before. So we wandered over there, and they met Jimmy, from London. I took an instant dislike to him, for some reason - just as I had been saying to Mum the other day that I don't take instant dislikes to anyone LOL, well I did with Jimmy. Had the persona of a wanker basically, lol was going to mention used car salesman or politician, but lol despite their hardships you gotta give those two professions SOME credit LOL.

Jimmy initially said he had been with an Aussie bird for five years back home and ten years here, although he hated Australia. He then said he had only spent two months in Brisbane (guess he could have spent the other nine and a bit years somewhere else), but had left the wife and kid at home while he was on the piss (and pull as his actions showed LOL). Telling the boys about shagging stories in Brisbane, and saying yeah I can have you sorted job and accommodation wise, getting their number but not giving them his - something dodgy about that. And part of his helping out was to keep a gentleman's agreement that they were only out drinking tonight (again, inference that he was on the pull). Know what I mean geez? LOL has been a long time since I heard that phrase ten times in five minutes!

Anyways, stood with them drinking (slowly, but more than my best practise one), England were getting flogged, and Jimmy said to me you want a bit do you my son, there's a girl over there that is keen on you - and I said sure, I wasn't going to go THAT far, but meeting new people is always nice - so yeah, I wandered over, and basically he must have talked to the group of girls before and wanted me as a wingman. Anyways, met Skye and Catherine and I forget the name of the other one, brunette and cute anyways. Skye was the one that I was wingmanning for him, and she seemed nice, and genuinely interested in me, they were all cute, and Skye was a bit larger, but eh, no worries for me, especially in friend making.

Skye was the rugby buff, and the other two were AFL fans I think, who only watched rugby internationally. So yeah, made small talk with Skye and a bit with Catherine, who was the loud one of the group, said to Skye is she always like this, uh huh was the reply LOL, no voice level meter for that girl. So yeah, the game ended, I hadn't really noticed it for a while, but the Poms got a right flogging, and Skye was watching intently. The game ended, and the other two girls got up to the dancefloor, Skye went to get a drink and then when passing me said do you want to come up to the floor LOL - sure, I'm happy doing that and wandered up. The brunette one was bopping away to herself in the little circle, and things were going OK LOL.

Then they asked what are your plans for the rest of the night Paul, and I said I'm easy, if you want me to stick with you fine if not that's fine as well, and they said oh don't you wanna go tell your Pommie mates - and I said nah I had just met them that night - oh Jimmy didn't get anywhere with his wingmanning, LOL the body language was just fucked up towards him, wanker LOL - and then they asked did you come into town by yourself, and I said yes - and this was the moment I should have said, well I have only just gotten to Brisbane I haven't made a heap of friends yet - but I didn't, I said I came in for the All Blacks match - and then it was bye Paul (god you are a loser they were probably thinking, coming in by yourself you just want to get laid was another probably thought), although Skye might have said, I was getting on really well with him guys, and you chased him off. Eh, I was only in the market for friends anyways LOL, and it was a pleasant half an hour with them, but eh, could have been even more pleasant going to their friend's housewarming with them.

Eh, no regrets though, I didn't do anything wrong or stupid :)

Then bumped into a guy who was saying that Andrew Mehrtens is the best first five ever, and this was from an Aussie, and then he said come around my side of the bar, will introduce you to my mates - and having nothing better to do at that time, that's what I did. Danny was this guy's name, and him and his mates were all in the twenty year old range. Very very loud, but quite entertaining, in a loud Australian kind of way. Liam, one of his mates was fucking entertaining, acting like God's gift, and yes, we were at that stage of the evening where bad flirting was the funniest thing ever. Got a massage from a girl (better than those ones going around selling roses LOL - yeah, I paid for it and everything, biggest expense of the evening), and then was clockwatching basically, wondering when the last train home left and stuff like that. Was tipsy enough to have a smoke lol, stupid stupid boy, and left the bar at about 11.30 - having had a really good night, thanks Skye LOL LOL.

On the way home got the munchies and had a pizza slice AND a Filet O Fish combo before getting on the train. Got home at ten to one around about, and was fairly quiet getting in, until I got on the phone to the best friend to tell her how my evening went - slipping in and out of nonsense or sleep as well LOL.

So yeah, biggest night I have had in a while, and totally enjoyable, yes even meeting Jimmy the Creep LOL - know what I mean?

LOL

Paul
