Couple of Interesting Links

The Guardian has updated for the day, and this is interesting. Since Saddam is one of the few POWs the US military has taken the last couple years in this 'war on terror' he is entitled to be released at the end of the occupation, unless he is properly charged. The Red Cross and the Vatican, maybe there are TWO bodies that the US has to listen to, or at least not blatantly ignore. Thinking realpolitik though, I have no doubt which side of the argument will be listened to by the Prez.

And this is good as well - telling the story of endless wars and endless occupations in the Middle East, mainly based around the whole thing of Babylon rising and falling endlessly. Good article, and shows what the citizens of Mesopotamia thought themselves of wars written from other points of view in the Bible and other (sort of) historic documents. Mmm, the British Museum, was there for hmm a few hours one day, but it's just so overwhelming in it's size and scale - like when I went to the Louvre and basically only saw the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo. Need more than 'if it's Tuesday it must be Paris' travel nowadays. The MidEast trip was well paced - well, apart from Lebanon LOL.

Later taters
