Monday Need Coffee

Footy and Portugal and Greece are through from Group A, Spain and Russia are out. The Mets swept Detroit, and are back to .500 - now can the boys break that and get into and stay in positive territory LOL, I don't actually hold out much hope, but eh, miracles could happen. England v Croatia tonight and all the Three Lions, Vindaloo, They Think It's All Over, It Is Now guff is consuming the nation I bet. Michael won another Formula One, surprise surprise, but I saw bits and pieces of it early this morning (the US GP) and demolition derby stuff - glad that Ralf survived his crash, looked pretty bad for about five minutes there.



Okies out of the sport and into real life for a paragraph or two. My brain is hurting as much as it did last Wednesday I think. We had some more database training today and it was such a dry dry topic and not to put our trainer down but she had such an easy voice to nod off to LOL. Nice enough woman, but we really had to concentrate on what she was saying. Had the usual pre kick off sit down with Sharon and Ann, and then sat with Lisa and those two again at lunchtime. I had to devour a sausage roll LOL I know there is crap meat in them but I was in the Zone for sausie rolls LOL. Jo was her usual nice self, Rachel was out of sorts and went home at lunchtime, ill, and had my first conversation with Kim - talking about how braindead we were and how dry the topic was as we headed off for lunch. Another good socialising day - well compared to the five months before LOL.



Got my eye doctor appointment tomorrow - hope I can get the glasses and contacts without it being too expensive, but of course I need a bit of style in the frames LOL LOL. Just hope that I am awake enough after work by the time the appointment comes around - and that I remember to go LOL instead of go directly to the train station...



Same old same old with the news, haven't gotten to the Guardian yet tonight but will probably give it a miss LOL - well for the diary entry anyways.
