Shaking my head here, reading a report from Congress that said that Iraq didn't support or help in the attacks of 11 September. Guess what the President is saying, that Congress is basically wrong LOL, and saying that of course there was a 'relationship' between Iraq and al-Qaeda, and the funny thing is that in polling in the States a majority of the population believe the Prez instead of the truth. Great example of repetition creating new truths. In his heart the President believes that, but maybe the evidence is showing that it may not be that way, to paraphrase Reagan on the Iran Contra thing.
Great, another shadow prisoner in Iraq, some suspected terrorist who hasn't been entered into any database or given a prisoner number at all - why doesn't the Administration understand that the rule of law is one of the stronger points of civilisation, and just to lock people up you don't like is just encouraging the nutters to match force with force. Hmm, another report today says that the Prez kept reading to the schoolkids in Florida for five to seven minutes after being told the second plane hit, but to be fair, I don't know how I would have reacted either. Flying all over the country instead of going back to DC is where I wonder what was going on, not beforehand.
Hmm, off to work, playing the blind man I guess.
Later
Paul
