One Last Washington Aside For The Morning

From the Washington Post today, about the 'Scooter' Libby indictment -

'Libby, 55, entered the courthouse on crutches because of a foot injury but came with a show of legal strength: Theodore V. Wells Jr. and William Jeffress Jr., two nationally prominent white-collar criminal defense litigators he had recently hired for his defense. . .'

Just a quick thought, how much would it cost per hour to hire two such heavyweight Washington lawyers? It wouldn't be cheap, maybe something like my monthly wage, or perhaps even more, per hour - and what did Scooter do before getting to the White House anyways - is he a millionaire or anything? And if not, who is paying his legal bills?

No more Washington political stories for the morning, all twenty minutes of it LOL - Canberra or Wellington or Ottawa or London on the other hand. Nah, I've tortured you all enough - authorised by the Vice President of course :)
