Exciting Science

Hmm, here's an interesting one - scientists have put electrodes in a paralysed guy's brain in the US and he can now instruct a computer to do certain tasks - pretty simple at the moment to turn on and off the TV and manipulate a robotic arm to get sweets (obviously the device was invented by a man LOL the beer and pizza robot arm isn't too far off I am sure), amazing stuff :)

Just thinking of the applications it could be put to, to move the cursor to the yes no question we could put to Terri Schiavo, and actually see how many brainwaves she actually has currently (no one has done tests on that?), or for the Pope to do the Steven Hawking thing when tubes are down his throat or nose or whatever is wrong with him today...
