First work day of the week, with only tomorrow to go, what with Easter coming up and all, and I just felt very flat, as if all the colour had been leached out of the place. Not even talking to the customers could pep me up, nor even finally getting word of our permanent contracts could get me excited. With that last thing, we will convert on 4 April, but all I was thinking is what the money is like, cos is it enough to keep me in Brisbane - and underlined the four weeks notice. I dunno, I just felt very at home in Tassie, and feel that decisions need to be made before the end of the year as to where this thing is headed...
Just watching American Idol at the moment - is the one where they cut the contestants down from sixteen to twelve, and will catch up another week with the episode on Friday being the first elimination final of the twelve. Am not linking to any Idol sites, because I don't want to know what has happened in the intervening time, and who has been kicked out etc :)
Hmm, still not going to make a direct comment on the Schiavo case in Florida, why should EVERYONE including Congress and the President get involved in what is a tortuous, nerve shattering private issue between the husband and parents, but why on earth is it that the biggest supporters of the death penalty go hell for leather in other right to life debates? And yes, George Dubya, I'm talking to you LOL. Is the fact that eighteen court cases have given the decision over to the husband mean that it's those 'activist' judges playing up again LOL.
Damn, I think I may have missed out on catching Friday Night Lights, and the only other movie I want to see this week is Be Cool, oh, or the Ring Two, I didn't get past F in the listing before disappointment set in LOL. Fingers crossed that Friday Night will be on SOMEWHERE, but hmm I KNEW it would only have a two week run LOL. Think I chose well when I went to Hotel Rwanda as the first option a couple weeks ago though...
Later peeps
Pauly
