Web Stories Of Interest

Wow, that was quick, and unexpected - the US Senate has already had a vote on constitutional amendment on gay marriage, and blocked it - the whole 2/3s thing I think shoots it down. The Prez going on about 'activist judges' indeed, pfft, better than activist politicians!

Wow, Paraguay beat Brazil in the Copa America (South American football champs). Then again, the Brazilians didn't bring their A squad to the Copa, but still, bragging rights in South American soccer goes on for decades LOL. And Paraguay only had ten players as well.

Bleah, the Butler Report. LOL Tony Blair pleading for the public to understand that he didn't WANT to say the 45 minutes til Armageddon claim. Bleah, that's all I gotta say on that. Less Iraqis and less coalition troops dead if war hadn't been started. But, have said heaps on that before, can't wait to see Fahr 9/11 :) Oh, and here is the Economist's spin on the topic - not saying nuffin more LOL :)

Okies that is that as far as I can see for now. My day went OK otherwise - Mel and Kim were both back yayyyy, so no drop outs so far. Our temping agency person did a wander around and also the first one on one chats, just seeing how we were going, I gave the A OK response, sure there are messy things but they sure as hell aren't stressing me. Drinkies probably tomorrow, so that is a good thing :)

Laters taters, a not much doing day
