Another Day Another Dollar

Hi all - am in a better mood coming home today than I was yesterday, less exhausted methinks. Not to say that the stuff we were doing was any easier, but perhaps more accustomed to it. Bit of umm discussion shall we say over the distribution of deputy coach Carla's time. I don't think our side was really bitching about the lack of attention, and I think that she was splitting her time pretty evenly, but I think it was more the dynamics of the other group that was umm interesting shall we say, rather than just a straight splitting of time. Not that I want to make it an us v them thing, not at all, because we are all one training group together, in my mind at least.

Just that there may be some stroppy members of the group mingled in with the more tangential (if that's a word) thinking members in the other mini group. Our side of the cubicle wall seemed to be able to putter along easily enough even when we hit snags, without going to the four corners of the floor. Is actually quite fun doing REAL work, which I think I mentioned yesterday, and being in the live system.

Socially, was with Sharon, Anne, Mel and Wayne for pre-work, stayed upstairs for morning break, ate by myself but then wandered over to sit with Kim and Lexie at lunch, and sat upstairs at arvo tea - was coming down after an especially stressful (for me) request. Passed Danielle coming back from the lunch bar and she smiled in recognition (I was walking with Kim), so hmm possibly interesting there... Made my contact lens appointment for tomorrow afternoon after work, and there are suggestions of barring it after work as well - hope they would stick around for at least an hour LOL. One drink limit remember Paul, with your pills and all.

More in a bit, din dins time here!

Paul
