A New Dawn?

LOL a reference to the fact that I wore my glasses to work, voluntarily even, yesterday.  That is a HUGE step for me, as I hated my old glasses with a passion.  Just took the new ones in because I wanted to give them a test run.  Not really much comment put on them, apart from were my eyes tired.  Good start to the morning yesterday, Metallica's Black Album on the Walkman mmm, Metallica LOL.  But not having my sunglasses on in the train OMG I felt naked almost - people could see where my eyes were, and I had to make an effort not to lazily swing them around, like I do with the sunnies - and no, I DON'T perv.  Just sometimes my eyes rest on aesthetically pleasing forms, with no thought of ever umm breaking the spell by maybe talking or anything LOL.  Actually, a couple days ago, I saw a girl that hmm out of the week, month whatever on the train could be called sex on legs.  But with my sunnies off, she wandered down the other end of the train bleah - I shoulda talked instead of just lazily admiring aesthetics perhaps LOL.

 

Tuesday was kinda boring at work, so I didn't write a diary entry for that day, and yesterday was OKish - had a bastard of a piece of work to do, that with checking and stuff I had to redo three friggin times, and even THEN I saw something I did wrong, well actually two things, one thing came back to me and I fixed it, but there is another issue.  Bleah, had spent more than enough time on it anyways.  Looking around socially, things are settling into a pattern - Konrad sick, Rachel wanting to be the overachiever, Lisa asking lots of questions, Mel and Kim being Mel and Kim LOL.  Actually dreamed about work just before I woke up this morning - Sharon and Rachel were disbelieving of how fast I could do orders?  I have NO idea what my subconscious was trying to tell me lol, should I be trying to appear to struggle?  hehehe

 

Spent a while after work in town, bought a book, time travel back to WW2 kinda stuff, and the Economist.  Hardly get any time to even just wander downtown during the lunchbreak, and it will get worse when we are back on half hour lunches, so needed to vent some purchasing pressure LOL.  May go to see I Robot either tonight or over the weekend, looks good.

 

Bleah hardly any time in the morning to do anything, let alone take up most of the time with a diary entry, damn not being online last night LOL - combination of late getting home, dinner, dessert, reasonable TV programs, and phone calls.
