I Shouldn't Have Stopped

I was going well there, half my first draft of my permanent application to work done, and then I decide to take a break - I mean, my braincells were dying at an extraordinary rate, actually having to think, but still, when will the second half be started Paul? Thrown myself a bit off kilter, having to think twice for half as long rather than once for the full length LOL - you know how getting the engine started can sometimes be half the battle. But the first half is looking good (for a first draft). And it is half more than I had done a couple of hours ago, but ow, my head hurts with all the thinking I had to do LOL.

Anyways, after half of the application, got distracted by online music again - restarted my on again off again relationship with Launchcast LOL - the currently Yahoo-run personalised music station thing. Was one of the first sites I wandered into when I got my own PC back in 2000, and bounce back and forth between having it on and not. Actually wandered onto it yesterday after I started a radio station website collection - mmm CBC Victoria at 1 in the morning local time LOL, quickly started looking for the private sector stations in both Ottawa and Wellington... and then bounced back to Launchcast...

And then was in a mood to google Judge Dredd - now, most of you guys may have heard that as a bad to middling Sylvester Stallone movie (although it did have Roy Schneider in it as well), but I had read 2000AD, the British comic from which Dredd came, for years. Some good storylines and characters, as well as the dross - mmm Cassandra Anderson LOL. Was a regular reader from about 1988 to 1996 (when travel came up as an option for my money LOL). Saw a rumour that the new owners of the comic are trying to get together a new Dredd movie, hmm, Angelina Jolie as Anderson gets my vote LOL.

And the rest of the blogosphere has no idea what I'm talking about I bet :)

God help you if you aren't sport or reality TV in this place LOL.

Is one of those days today where you need to have a shower four times a day just to feel alive, have been wilting in this heat and just stayed inside. Can't believe that high of only 33 on the news just before. Will get onto the second half of my application maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow...

  1. I was going to ask if there actually IS any other television programming in Australia besides reality shows and sports. It sure doesn't look like it from that list! :)
