Au Revoir, Expos...

Thirty five years, one league championship series, plummeting attendance, a terminal sense of the future the last four or five years, and not sure whether they are Quebec or Puerto Rico - still, it is sad to think of the Expos going. Yes, it was good to see the Mets have a final win for the season, and they are my team, but it didn't have to be an eight one massacre. Congrats to Washington getting a franchise back, but eh, it must be the Canadian in me or something LOL.

Hmm, no to keep on that story would make me maudlin LOL. Yes, even if they are Quebeckers.

And the first round of postseason is Dodgers v Cardinals, Red Sox v Angels, Twins v Yankees, and Astros v Braves. C'mon the Red Sox Yankees World Series :) or maybe Red Sox v Houston, what with the MA v TX contest in early November - what with Dubya REALLY being from the North East as well LOL. Dammit, politics just slips in too easily with me...

And here is the first article of the politics - the Armageddon election, it seems, the end is near if the other side wins for either of the parties. I like that phrase LOL. Gay marriage v nuking France as it were :) Senior Guardian writer goes on a road trip, lol for some reason I got a vision of Tom Green feeding a snake (yay, good Ottawa boy LOL).

LOL, Fox News apologised for fabricating a story where John Kerry called himself a metrosexual. What with slagging off Daily Show viewers the other day, who on average are richer and smarter than Fox's demographic, bring it on :)

More later peeps :)

Pauly
